The site was down momentarily tonight for its first update. I also took the liberty to apply a new (more complete) theme. As much as we all loved the Vista theme there was no hiding its major drawbacks, missing components, and leftover art from whatever theme it was hacked out of…

The new theme, Surprising Sunset 1.0, designed by Mark Breuer & Webschnaeppchen.de. is nicely done with a good fluid width that makes a lot less wasted space on fans wide screen monitors.

Hopefully the new theme will serve us much better, until something better comes along.

Update: The sites timestamps are now corrected.

Welcome To MultiMonitor.Net’s new home.

During our ramp-up process we will be adding all new features in response to our readers comments on our old home. We may experience some downtime during the growing process.

For those of you new to MultiMonitor.Net

MultiMonitor.net is about expanding your view of technology. Expanding your view is so much more than just getting a larger display, its about adding real estate with logical dividers. If you played games in full screen on a 3072×768 resolution monitor you are using up all of you desktop real estate on a possibly very stretched game. With the same resolution divided into three 1024×768 monitors you can now run your application on the center monitor and use your other displays for anything useful!
